Our innovation manager goes on maternity leave!
Carole Oudot, our cherished innovation manager and leader of the program Innovators of Tomorrow, will be on maternity leave starting mid May. We are all thrilled for her and we wish her health, happiness and all the best for this great new adventure!

Our 2026 equipment grants call is open
With a provisional budget of ~1M€, this call will finance small to large equipment to academic labs in Ile-de-France to a maximum of 66% of funding rate. Apply until June 1st!

Call for applications – Prix des Innovateurs 2026

Researchers and entrepreneurs in Île-de-France are invited to apply to the Région Île-de-France's Prix des Innovateurs 2026, supporting breakthrough innovations with strong societal and economic impact.

Genopole's Shaker #19 opening soon
The next call for applications to the Genopole Shaker program will run from April 29 to July 15, 2026.
Shaker supports early-stage projects at the interface of biotechnology, health, and environmental innovation. The program is designed to accelerate the transition from scientific concepts to high-impact startups, through tailored mentoring, training, and access to the Genopole ecosystem.

Selected teams will benefit from 3 days of mentoring and networking, working with experts to leverage data and computational tools to overcome scientific and technological bottlenecks.

Job opportunity – Sorbonne Université
An Engineering Assistant (IE – Ingénieur d’études, research engineer position) is open within the Development, Adaptation and Ageing Unit (Dev2A – UMR8263-U1345, joint research unit) at the Institut de Biologie Paris-Seine, on the Pierre and Marie Curie campus (Paris).
The position is based on the iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cells) core facility, focusing on the management and use of human iPSC lines.
Main responsibilities:
  • Reprogram, centralise, and quality-control iPSC lines (pluripotency, genome integrity, health status), and ensure their distribution
  • Train users in best practices for iPSC culture, differentiation, and phenotyping
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Environment
Dev2A (Development, Adaptation and Ageing) is a research unit created in 2025, gathering ~250 staff across 19 teams. It operates under the supervision of Sorbonne Université, the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research), and the Inserm. Research spans from development to ageing, including environmental adaptation, across multiple biological scales.
