Dear Chiara,
BioConvS has a lot to share this month: our equipment call is still open until March 5th, our annual PhD call has just opened, we are opening a series of Masterclasses in scientific communication and we are once again offering entrances for the Congrès France Bioproduction which will be, this year, here in Paris!
Most importantly, we are also launching campaign to identify all labs in our community. Read more below!

Census of BioConvS labs
Starting January 2024, all labs affiliated or wanting to participate in a DIM BioConvS activity will have to be registered. Why? Most importantly because we want to build a cartography of biotherapy, bioproduction and synthetic biology in Ile-de-France and you want to make sure that you're on it!

Attend our Masterclass on Scientific Communication
BioConvS is sponsoring an event series on scientific outreach. The first Masterclass will be on March 6th - only 8 spots available! Register on a first-come, first served basis. These events will be in French.

Ouvertes à tous les membres du DIM, ces formations vous permettront d'aborder des thématiques diverses autour d'un petit-déjeuner de 9h à 10h30 :
• 6 Mars : Introduction générale à la communication et médiation
• 3 Avril : Esprit critique et biais argumentatifs
• 3 Mai : Médiation expérimentale / L'expérience
• 11 Juin : Réseaux sociaux
• 5 Juillet : Penser et écrire un projet d'outreach
Les inscriptions sont ouvertes pour une ou plusieurs séances.

Attend the Congrès France Bioproduction for free
As last year, you can apply to get free tickets to attend THE event of french bioproduction: the Congrès France Bioproduction! BioConvS will sponsor up to 10 entrances to the conference. Apply before March 17th!

Equipment call deadline postponed
The deadline for our second call for equipment grants has been postponed to March 5th. It will finance equipments from 7.5k€, with no upper limit. The total budget for the call is 675k€.

|
Our 2024 PhD call is now open!
Also this year we will finance 4 PhD fellowships on all BioConvS thematics. You will need to have identified a candidate to participate to this call! Deadline: April 22nd.

Registration is open for the 2024 ESGCT spring school which is taking place April 16-19 2024 in Budapest. This is a fantastic opportunity for students and young investigators to learn about gene and cell therapy through seminars and workshops. The SFTGC is organising its annual congress in Nantes on March 21&22. Travel grants available to students!
This Academy-type programme, including one mentoring talk, will give 8 students the opportunity to present their work on any topic as long as it falls under the gene and cell therapy umbrella. This event is free of charge for SFTCG student members and can either be attended on its own or combined with the Theme Day to be held on 22 March.
