BioConvS would like to share with its network the initiative Declics, organised by Cercle FSER. Info below in French and English.
Quel que soit votre métier ou votre discipline, si vous travaillez dans la recherche… Les élèves ont envie de vous rencontrer : participez à un speed-meeting avec des élèves de lycée et diffusez l’information !
Vous n’avez rien à préparer, il faut en revanche bloquer une demi-journée dans votre emploi du temps pour échanger avec les élèves par groupes de 5 (1h30 de présence obligatoire + 1h30 de présence optionnelle). Toutes les 12 minutes une cloche retentira et vous changerez de groupe d’élèves.
Pourquoi?
- pour aider ces jeunes à s’orienter en découvrant des métiers
- pour créer du lien avec les équipes pédagogiques
- pour développer l’esprit critique et expliquer le processus de validation des connaissances
- pour partager votre passion
- discuter avec les élèves de votre recherche (votre sujet, votre métier, votre quotidien, le peer-review… ce que vous voulez !)
- redonner confiance dans la science et les scientifiques
Comment?
Pour participer il vous faut impérativement remplir ce formulaire.
A votre demande, une attestation de participation peut vous être remise suite à la rencontre Declics. Il sera aussi possible de valoriser votre participation auprès de votre tutelle.
Où/quand?
Près de 300 créneaux vous seront proposés dans la plupart des grandes villes de France et en distanciel, détails (carte et calendrier détaillés) sur le site.
Nous recherchons 3000 scientifiques sur l’ensemble de la France ! Si vous voulez diffuser l’appel autour de vous, vous trouverez en suivant ce lien un message tout prêt pour relayer sur vos listes de diffusion favorites, ainsi qu’un message Twitter, un post Facebook, et un post LinkedIn à partager !

No matter your job or subject, as long as you work in research… students want to meet you! Join in a speed-meeting with high school students and speak of this action around you!
You have nothing to prepare, just reserve half a day in your schedule to discuss with groups of 5 students (1h30 necessarily + another optional 1h30). Do not worry, they do speak some English and from experience, high school students are very impressed by the fact that science happens in English and that people come from abroad to do research in France!

- to discuss your research with students (your topic, your trade, your day-to-day life, the peer-review process… whatever you’d like !)

How?
To become a Declics Ambassador you do have to fill this online form.
At your request, you can be provided with a participation certificate after the encounter.
When and where?
Everywhere in France, about 300 slots will be available, in person and remotely! Details in the registration form
